KEY ACHIEVEMENTS FROM PREVIOUS WORK:
• Created a mental health curriculum and trained 200+ people at 10 in-person and online events
• Coordinated a four-week multidisciplinary training for people living with HIV/AIDS, noncommunicable diseases (NCD), and diagnosed mental health conditions to improve mental health status, patient activation levels, and NCD outcomes
• Trained 15 school-aged youth on safe sexual health practices, HIV/AIDS risk factors, and peer advocacy skills for World AIDS Week
• Trained 20 students on climate change’s impact on Bahamian marine ecosystems and fostered authentic environmental advocacy skills
• Trained five peer volunteers to measure and document carbon monoxide levels to support tobacco knowledge and attitudes survey data
• Designed curriculum and trained 50+ volunteers on best practices for distributing safe drinking water post-health emergencies
• Developed curriculum for epidemic preparedness and infection prevention and control courses, training 10 volunteers from six Bahamian islands
